If a caregiver already has English classes assigned and their language is switched to Spanish, their existing enrollments will not change. However, administrators do have the ability to manually update existing enrollments by following the steps below.
Note: If you are completing this for multiple classes, we recommend you go through all the steps for one class at a time. Then, go back through the steps again for each class needed. That way, all classes stay within the same training bundle for compliance.
Step 1: Log in to your dashboard at go.careacademy.com, and expand the profile of the caregiver you would like to update existing enrollments for.
Step 2: You will see a menu button next to each class. Find the class you want to update under "In Progress", and press the menu (three dots) button.
Note: If the caregiver has already completed the class and you need them to complete it in Spanish, please visit this article.
Step 3: Select the Remove Class option.
Step 4: Select Confirm if this is the class you would like to remove.
Step 5: Once the class has been removed, press the menu (three dots) button to the right of the class again.
Step 6: Select Reenroll.
The class should now show "Spanish" after you refresh the dashboard.
It will also update for your caregiver as well.
Important: CNAs in California MUST take an English version of a class for it to count for CNA CEU credit.
