As an agency manager, you will be able to send a text message to your caregivers through the dashboard. These text messages can be sent to individual caregivers or sent in bulk to a group of caregivers.
You will be able to monitor all of the outgoing and incoming messages through the Message Log. It is also possible to see if a caregiver has responded to a message sent via the CareAcademy dashboard on the Message Log. For more information about the Message Log, please see here.
Please note that in order to message a caregiver via the dashboard, the caregiver must first have a phone number on file. For information on how to edit caregiver information and add a phone number, review this article.
How to message caregivers individually
Step 1: Log in to go.careacademy.com.
Step 2: Use the search box to locate the caregiver you want to send the message to and select "Message".
Step 3: Type your message and select "Send Message".
NOTE: Responses to messages sent from the dashboard are directed to CareAcademy's Customer Support team. Although an administrator can see the response(s) logged in their dashboard's Message Log, they will not receive a notification when a caregiver responds. We recommend that administrators include their name and contact information in their message to a caregiver if they are reaching out regarding a time-sensitive matter.
You will be able to see information on the last time a message was sent to a caregiver when you hover over the number of days below the "Message" button.
How to message caregivers in bulk
Step 1: Log in to go.careacademy.com.
Step 2: Use the search box to locate the caregivers you want to send the message to and select the box to the left of their name. To select all caregivers, use the box on the left of "Name/Phone" and put a check on the box. Select "Message" once you're done choosing the caregivers to whom you want to send a message.
Step 3: Type your message and select "Send Message".
