Continuing education regulations for Certified Nursing Assistants vary from state to state. In states with a formal approval process such as California and Florida, CareAcademy has tagged state-approved classes with the topic "[state abbreviation] CNA CE" in order to help you identify which classes are approved for CNA continuing education credit. Follow the steps below to determine which classes are approved for CNA continuing education in your state.
Step 1: Go to your agency's dashboard.
Step 2: Select Curriculum on the upper left side of the dashboard. 
Step 3: Click on Add Class. 
Step 4: From the Class Catalog, click on the Topic menu where it says "All Classes."
Step 5: Look for your state abbreviation followed by CNA CE in the dropdown list. For example, approved California CNA continuing education classes appear under the topic CA CNA CE.
Step 6: After selecting a state's CNA CEs, courses approved for continuing education credit in that state will be listed. You can also confirm that a class is approved for CNA continuing education by looking at the topics associated with the class. Only classes tagged with [state abbreviation] CNA CE are approved for continuing education credit.
