This article will show how agency administrators can change caregivers' annual compliance due dates individually. There are three ways to modify the annual compliance due date for an individual caregiver.
Method 1: Editing the due date via the "Edit Caregiver" page
Step 1: Log in to your admin account via go.careacademy.com
Step 2: Select the name of the desired user to expand his or her profile, then select the "Edit" button.
Step 3: Modify the annual training due date
FOR NON-REGULATED STATES: Enter the date on the provided field
FOR REGULATED STATES: Select NO if the Annual Training Due Date is not yet past due. Select YES if the Annual Training is already past due. Note: The annual due date will be based on the caregiver's hire date anniversary
Step 4: Click on Save.
Method 2: Editing the due date for an annual curriculum that has already been assigned via the caregiver profile
Step 1: Log in to your admin account via go.careacademy.com
Step 2: Select the name of the desired user to expand his or her profile. Please select the "Edit Due Date" button on the current annual training bundle.
Step 3: Enter the Annual Due Date and click Save
Note: Once the change is made, the annual compliance due date at the top of the caregiver's profile will still show the original due date, but the annual compliance bundle will show the due date you have entered. The caregiver's classes will be assigned based on the due date you assigned.
Method 3: Editing only the year of the due date (not the month or day)
Step 1: Log in to your admin account via go.careacademy.com
Step 2: Hover over the annual compliance due date year. A box will appear and when clicked on, it will show a plus (+) and minus (-) sign to indicate increasing or decreasing the year the next annual training is due.
Step 3: Select "Confirm" to change the annual year due date.
