CareAcademy encourages dashboard administrators to thoroughly review the class library. We allow for administrators to take as many classes as they like at no additional cost. It is possible to access CareAcademy classes directly from the administrator dashboard by creating a caregiver account.

How to access CareAcademy classes as an administrator for the first time:
Step 1: Select the "Add Caregiver" button on the top of the screen.
Step 2: Upon selection, a pop-up will appear prompting you to add yourself as a caregiver. Select the "Add myself as a caregiver" button.
Step 3: Upon selection, you will be navigated to the "Create Caregiver" form. The following fields will be pre-populated:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
Step 4: Complete the remaining fields on the form, including whether you wish to be enrolled in your initial or annual curriculum bundle.
Note: This caregiver profile is not counted towards your monthly user count. Please be sure to check the box "Admin previewing the caregiver experience. Seat doesn't count." when filling in the remaining fields.
Step 5: Once you have completed all the required fields, select the "Create" button.
Step 6: You will be navigated back to the Administrator Dashboard. You should see a notification that your caregiver account has been created. You will now be able to view your caregiver profile on the dashboard.
Step 7: Select your preferred language.
Step 8: By selecting your caregiver profile, you can view the classes that are currently assigned. If you're interested in learning how to assign additional classes, please click here.
Step 8: Great! We have now set up your caregiver profile and assigned classes for you to review. In order to view these classes, please select the "Take Classes" button located at the left corner of the screen.
It is also possible to access this button below your caregiver name.
Step 9:
You will be navigated to the caregiver dashboard.
How to access CareAcademy classes as an administrator with a pre-existing caregiver account:
As an administrator, you will have the ability to take classes through your administrator account as long as:

You have an active caregiver profile.
- If your caregiver account is currently deactivated, please click here to learn how to reactivate it.
- Your caregiver profile is linked to the same email address as your administrator account.
If your caregiver profile is deactivated or has a different email address linked, then you will not be able to access classes. Please correct this before attempting to access your classes.
Step 1: Select the "Take Classes" button located at the left corner of the screen. It is also possible to access this button below your caregiver name.

Step 2: You will be navigated to the caregiver dashboard.
Possible Scenarios
Scenario 1: You have not started training. Click the "Get Started" button.
Scenario 2: You have started training. Click the "Continue" button.
Scenarios 1 and 2 will take you directly into your next class. Once there, if you would like to see your full list of classes or work on another class, click Dashboard on the upper left or visit this article for more guidance.
Scenario 3: There is no training assigned to you at this time. You will receive a message when training is available.
Scenario 4: You have completed all your training. To view your completed classes, please visit this article.
