With CareAcademy's Curriculum Management tool, it's possible to establish an initial and annual curriculum that will be assigned to all caregivers on a dashboard. However, we understand you may want to switch up your annual training in an effort to help your caregivers to expand their skill set each year.
For this reason, it is possible to create a multi-year curriculum plan. In other words, you can use the Curriculum Management tool to specify the courses that a caregiver will take during their first year with CareAcademy, second year with CareAcademy, etc.
Step 1: Navigate to the Caregiver Curriculum tab on your dashboard.
Step 2: Go to the Annual Training tab.
Note: If you have more than one curriculum track, you will need to click the name of a track first.
Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the list of classes, and select the "Add Year" button. Upon selection, an additional annual curriculum will appear below and will have an identical curriculum as the year prior.
Step 4: Edit your new curriculum as needed. If you decide you no longer wish to add this curriculum to your annual training bundle, select the trash icon to delete. You may also add multiple years.
Step 5: Be sure to click "Publish Changes" to add this to your annual training curriculum moving forward.
The caregivers will cycle through the annual curricula. Let's say you've set an annual curriculum for first-year, second-year, and third-year caregivers. Once a caregiver has completed the third year curriculum, they will be assigned the first year curriculum the following year.
